International Monetary Fund (IMF)
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) co-hosts two meetings each year in conjunction with the World Bank (WB). Attendees to the meetings are economic experts from around the world, numbering from several thousand to as many as 10,000 very important guests. When held in Washington, DC, the meetings take place at the headquarters of the IMF on Pennsylvania Avenue, blocks from the White House.
When your “guests” are the world’s finance ministers and their staffs from countries around the globe, your venue needs to be top-notch. For two weeks the IMF campus gets transformed to show the importance of the IMF and the people it represents, including all of the world’s nations, cultures, lifestyles and industries.
By creating a dynamic event identity that brands and unites the building exteriors, interiors, directional signage, audio-visual presentations, online communications and printed materials, the IMF World Finance Meetings take on a presence of importance.
Fixation creative staff worked tirelessly under tight deadlines to scope the site venue, plan the event graphic program, develop a dynamic event brand and messaging, and design the environmental graphics, including super-graphics as large as 66 by 20 feet!
We guided fabricators and installers to ensure the elements were produced and installed correctly so that the brand was successfully implemented and the client’s budget was used efficiently.
The IMF campus was transformed into a world financial showcase. By using an international, global brand identity, the finance ministers and news bureaus from around the world were reminded that the IMF is the center of world finance and affects the livelihoods of people all around the world.
