Bethesda, MD – March 14, 2011—Washington advertising and creative veteran Mike Gallagher has recently been named Creative Director at Fixation Marketing in Bethesda, Maryland.

We were ready for someone with Mike’s creative ‘chops’ and we’re very excited to have him here.”
Prior to joining Fixation, Mike was running his own media-agnostic creative consultancy, where clients included The Kellogg Foundation, NASA, the IRS, and the Department of Veteran’s Affairs.
His experience also includes time as Senior Vice President, Creative Director at Porter Novelli, where he was instrumental in the development and growth of the Broadcast, Creative & Digital Group. There he led the team that created the award-winning Energy Guys campaign for the Propane Energy & Research Council. Other clients included SeaWorld, Wyeth and the American Forest & Paper Association.
Prior to Porter Novelli, Mike worked at one of the Washington region’s creative hotspots, Arnold Worldwide, as a copywriter before being promoted to Creative Director and Group Head. DC United, The Society of the Plastics Industry, McDonald’s, DeWalt and ExxonMobil all received award-winning work from Mike and his teams.
