Fixation Makes the Local NBC4 News!
Bethesda, MD—Local Washington DC NBC news affiliate NBC4 visited Fixation Marketing’s Bethesda office today to film for a segment on Twitter that will air in the next few weeks. Producer Matt Glassman interviewed Account Director Alex George about how Fixation is helping its clients learn best practices for Twitter and other social media outlets, now that such channels are being recognized as important business tools and communication applications. To get the client’s perspective Fixation invited Julie Parsons, Events Marketing Director at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), to take part in the film shoot. She revealed to NBC4 that Fixation’s guidance has helped her use Twitter to effectively engage association members and organically promote and propel attendance for IAAPA Attractions Expo in Las Vegas this November—the world’s largest attractions industry event.
