Fixation Marketing Wins Best Online Ad Award for client BIO
Bethesda, MD—Fixation Marketing earned a top spot in this year’s Internet Advertising Competition (IAC) with banner ads for BIO International Convention. Hosted by the Web Marketing Association, IAC is an annual awards show that honors innovation and creativity in internet advertising.
The winning ads were part of a larger campaign depicting the “everyday heroes” of biotechnology-those professionals dedicated to fulfilling biotech’s promise to heal, fuel and feed the world. The campaign features biotechnology professionals at work, with comic book art added to show their superhero stature. The advertising was conceived with the goal of blending professionalism with a touch of irreverence intended to connect with the entrepreneurial biotech community.
“They say that short stories are harder to write than a novel because every word must speak volumes,” said Fixation president & CEO Jean Whiddon. “The same is true of excellent banner ads—a big message needs to fit into a very small space.
